School asks a lot of a young child. We prepare children for the classroom, step by step, and support the move to school or a shadow teacher.
- Sitting, attention and following group instructions
- Waiting, turn-taking and asking for help
- Self-help: bag, shoes, washroom, lunch
- Separating from parents and handling transitions
Who it is for
Children approaching nursery, primary school or a change of school, whether or not they are already in ABA therapy with us.
Parent training
Skills only stick when they are used at home. Each month we meet to review progress, teach strategies and answer your questions.
- Monthly coaching session
- Simple routines and visual schedules for home
- Support for siblings and family questions
Assessment
Every child starts with an assessment so the programme fits. We cannot give a medical diagnosis; if you need one, we will help you find the right professional.
